Answer & explanation:

Lipids have a hydrophilic head and a hydrophobic tail. Meaning that one part of them will tend to avoid contact with water. This nature will lead them to form any type of structure that can keep the tails out of touch with the water molecules when in aqueous solutions. Micelles, liposomes, and bilayers do provide the lipids this "comfort" and they're the best energetically arrangements.
