Answer:

Zero (no solution)

Explanation:

Multiply as indicated, obtaining:

2 + 6x - 24 = 6x - 18

Subtract 6x from both sides, obtaining:

2 -24 = -18

This can never be true, and therefore this equation has NO solution.
