Why might rural people have had more trouble accepting the one child policy than city people

*NOTE* this is my thinking. I’m not sure if this is what your teacher is aiming for.

I think rural people don’t like it because, rural people usually live in small villages or very small cities. They would want to populate their home more so they can have a more advanced village and overall a more sophisticated life. If theres a one child policy, it would be a lot harder to grow their city. City people don’t mind because they already have an ideal lifestyle in an advanced and modern city.
