A rectangle is a 4 sided figure. Perimeter is the distance around the rectangle. The total distance would be

(5v -2w) + (5v - 2w) + (6v+7w) + (6v + 7w) Add all the like terms together

5v + 5v + 6v + 6v - 2w - 2w + 7w + 7w

The v's add up to 22 and the w's add up to 10
