Why is 6/5 not equivalent to 3/2?!?!?!

It’s because they don’t have the same denominator. In order to get that, you have to find what’s 5 and 2 goes into. It’s 10 because 5 x 2 = 10. 30/10 is equivalent to 15/10.

Answer: Both numbers 6/5 and 3/2 do not have a common denominator. Just as how 2 cannot go into 5 evenly.
