Ways to avoid plagiarism when working with sources:

The common practices that can be employed in order to avoid plagiarism are, as follows,

  • Paraphrasing – It is the practice where the author reads a particular topic from a source and then write upon the content in his own words instead of using the same words that were used in the source.
  • References – Acknowledging the sources the author has referred to, at the end of his work in a separate section can help the authors get over plagiarism as right credit is given to the source’s author.
