substitute the values


A=(1)/(2)(7)(5.5)=19.25\ units^2

Find the area of triangle CDE


b=CD=AB=7\ units


h=(BC)/(2)=(11)/(2)=5.5\ units

A=(1)/(2)(7)(5.5)=19.25\ units^2
