3x + y = -2

2y – 6x = 4

2y = -6x – 8

To find the slope, just clear y from each equation and the number next to the "x" is the slope.

y = -3x - 2 slope = -3

b) 2y - 6x = 4

2y = 6x + 4

y = 6/2 x + 4/2

y = 3x + 2 slope = 3

c) 2y = -6x - 8

y = -6/3 x - 8/2

y = -3x - 4 slope = -3

Then. as the first and the last lines have the same values, they are parallel.
