Write a possible polynomial function in factored form with roots 0, -5, and 3.

f(x) = x (– 5) (x+3)
f (x) = (x + 5) (x – 3)
of(x) = x (x - 5) (0 - 3)
f(x) = x (x + 5) (x – 3)

Explanation:

For roots -5 and 3, you must always do the opposite sign in the parenthesis! As for root 0, it is x because it just is.

*(in simple terms for why x is the root for 0)basically when you are finding the zeros of a function, you are putting each parenthesis as its own equation and that includes any variables with no parenthesis as one too! Also, just so you know, x^to any power will always be the root for 0
