EXPLANATION;

The book of Acts in the bible showcases the the acts performed by the disciples of Jesus Christ after He ascended to heaven. The book is full of different types of miracles that defined the early church of Jesus Christ.

For instance, in chapter 3 of the book of Act, the story is told of a man of about 40 years old, who was born lame and who has been begging for alms in front of the temple for years. Peter and John healed this man, using the name of Jesus and this led to their arrest.

In Act chapter 4, Peter and John has to defend their actions before the religious council. The disciples refused to keep quiet about Jesus Christ as requested by the religious council and this led to their persecutions in Act chapter 5.

In Act chapter 10, Cornelius and his households, who were unbelievers, were preached to by Peter and they received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This event signify the beginning of preaching to people from other races; up until that time, the disciples were preaching only to Jews.

In the course of his preaching in Act chapter 13, Paul defined Jesus as the seed of David and in Act chapter 26, Paul defended himself before king Agrippa.
