Explanation: Seat belts do reduce the risk of dying in a traffic accident. Various studies have found that it reduces it by 45%. I have known the experience of relatives of friends where they have said that the use of belts has saved their lives and in cases where they have not used it, it does not.

Using the belt can prevent the person from being thrown out of the car and being more prone to hitting some part of the body that can cause death.
