Answer:

Three main cultural topics experienced by Torres Strait inhabitants; required to encourage the participation of people, are the following: indentity, kinship and language.

Step-by-step explanation:

Identity. There are two main currents in cultural identification based on geography. There are people highly identified with local islands, which involves places for hunting and island distribution. Also, there is another group of people that also includes Papua New Guinea and Australia´s mainland as part of their identity.

Kinship. The culture believes in four main elements encompassing whole creation: rocks, stars, winds and living creatures. Every clan on the culture is created with a specific relationship and responsibilities regarding a specific element. In regards to the creation of clans, not every woman giving birth will raise that child. Reasons like company for the elderly, distribution of gender in a family, families with no children, etc., could be considered valid options for adoption.

Language. Torres Strait Islanders have three main languages. The usage of local names should be used over those names provides to geographical locations by Europeans. Also, identify yourself as non-Aboriginal.
