My number has a tens digit that is 8 more than the ones digits .zero is not one of my digits .

Explanation:

Let the tens digit of my number is x and the ones digit is y.

Hence, the number is 10x + y ........ (1)

Now, it is given that, the ones digit is 8 less than the tens digit,

Hence, x = y + 8 ......(2)

Since the digits x and y can not be of two-digit i.e. they are less than 10 and x and y none of them can be zero, then fro equation (2), the only combination of x and y are 9 and 1.

Therefore, the number is ( 10 × 9) + 1 = 91. (Answer)
