All the colonist which had some colonies under their control and authority had same view about the type of government which will govern all the colonies and that type of government was ''self government''.

This is a form of the government where the ruler who is elected takes all the decisions of the people living in that colony and the colony has control over that colony and it's decision. The ruler also did not have to ask the ''imperial power'' if any.

The representatives didn't concur on numerous things. They had solid authority and a typical reason. In spite of this difference, most colonists concurred that a gathering to talk about a suitable aggregate reaction to British activities was a smart thought.

Colonial governing bodies sent delegates to Philadelphia, and the First Continental Congress assembled in September of 1774. The Continental Congress consented to the Articles of Association on October 20.
