Answer- It’s the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand
This is because this is what finally set off the war after a lot of other aspects:
1. Austria declared war on Serbia
2. Russia prepared to defend its ally Serbia
3. Germany declared war on Russia to protect Austria
4. France declared war on Germany to protect Russia
5. Germany invaded Belgium to get to France so Britain declared war on Germany.
