How do you divide -1 by 4?

Answer: Dividing with a positive and a negative will always be negative

Explanation:

Without the negatives, dividing 1 by 4 will result in 0.25 or it’s fraction form 1/4

So in this case it would be a negative number instead of a positive. -0.25 or -1/4

Tip: 1 fourth(1/4) can mean division, so when ever you are hit with the reverse you can remember that.

Hope this helps!!

Answer:

-0.25

Explanation:

1 divided by 4 is 0.25, but in this case, the 1 is negative, making your answer negative. So you would get -0.25
