play baseball. If you ask 500 people how many would you expect to play baseball? Show your

Answer:

Explanation:

48 out of 120 people like baseball.

That is about 48/120 = 0.4 [40%]

Now, 3/5th of THOSE, play baseball, so

0.4 * 3/5 = 0.4 * 0.6 = 0.24 [24%].

Thus, we have seen that around 24% of total people taken would play baseball.

Now, we take 500 people, so 24% of them would be expected to play baseball.

That is 0.24 * 500 = 120 people
