Daoims or Taoism is a religion of Chinese philosophy; it is based on the polytheistic and philosophical system, of beliefs similar to the ancient mystical and enigmatic elements of the popular Chinese religion, such as: ancestor worship, exorcism rituals, alchemy and magic.

Taoism emerged in the 2nd century and incorporated some of the oldest religious elements in China.

From observing the laws of nature, the masters of Taoism concluded that everything has an identity, which comes from a single source, the Tao. The meaning of this Chinese word is "path, trail, road". Tao is the main concept of Taoism.

The full liberation of the soul would be in man's return to Tao.

Some ways to do this would be meditation, living in harmony and detachment from the material world.

Taoists also believe in the essence of all things. In addition, there are two forces in Taoism, yin and yang.
