I don't know who got the harebrained idea that geometry class should be the place where the kids practice algebra. These are barely geometry.
As is typical in these problems, the units are screwed up, with some constants marked in degrees, some not.
Really the only geometry here is that the first two angles mentioned add to the third, so we get the equation
2x + 5 + 5x - 79 = 122
7x - 74 = 122
7x = 196
x = 28
YWZ = 5x - 79 = 5(28) - 79 = 61
Answer: 61 degrees
Since twice 61 degrees is 122 degrees, WY does indeed bisect the angle XWZ.
