From the present context of the 21st century, my assessment of the risks that are associated with the extreme natural hazards induced by the human elements are in the terms of warfare and mass extinction, overpopulation, and the biggest of them all is the climate change associated with global warming.
According to my assessment, the threats related to the natural environment are not as severe as compared to those of humans or man has deliberately created them and these are growing continuously and hence they can lead to rapid changes in the earth's biogeochemical cycles.
Since the
Holocene
epoch has stated we now see a race among all the species on earth for the tight of the fittest and survival ofthe fittest all are in a competitive mode.
Man has induced artificial technology and thereby created biowarfare and global warming an environmental disaster that not reversible. The cause of volcanic eruption and flooding is also related to the man in and is seen as a more serious threat to the natural ecological systems.
