Explain the difference between (-10)^2 and -10^2.

(-10)² is 100 and -10² is -100

Explanation:

The parentheses in (-10) means you're multiplying -10 and -10 which gives you 100. -10² means you're multiplying 10 and 10 which is 100, but you have the negative sign still so you add the negative sign to the 100 which makes it -100. Hope it helped (:
