Sum of { 1,2,3,……….., 1000}

So here, total number of terms “n” = 1000.

By using equation 1, we can find the sum as,

Sum =
(1000(1000 + 1))/(2)


= (1000(1001))/(2)

= 500(1001)

= 500500

Hence the sum of all whole numbers from 1 to 1000 is 500500
