A_p=b* h , where b is base and h is height of parallelogram.

A_s=(\pi r^2)/(2), where r is radius.


=(3.14*4^2)/(2)=25.12 (2)

Now from (1) and (2),. the area of the combined figure will be :-


A=A_p+A_s\\\\=15.6+25.12=40.72\approx40.7\ m^2
