Answer:

p <
-(7)/(5)

Explanation:

Change the less than sign to an equals sign so we can solve for p

2-(-10p-2) = -10

Get rid of the parentheses by changing the signs bkuz of the - in front of the parentheses

2+10p+2 = -10

Combine like terms

10p+4 = -10

Subtract 4 from both sides

10p = -14

Divide both sides by 10

p =
-(14)/(10)

Simplify

p =
-(7)/(5)

Bkuz you want it to be less than -10 change the equals sign to a less than sign

p <
-(7)/(5)

Hey!

-----------------------------------------------

Steps to Solve:

2 - (-10p - 2) < -10

Simplify:

10p + 4 < -10

Subtract 4 to both sides:

10p + 4 - 4 < -10 - 4

Simplify:

10p < -14

Divide 10 to both sides:

10p/10 < -14/10

Simplify:

-14/10 = -7/5

Answer:

p < -7/5

-----------------------------------------------

Hope This Helped! Good Luck!
