Answer:

The Median is the center of the data and I believe it's Value would be 41,429

Explanation:

The median like the center median is in the middle and when there is an even amount of numbers you take the two middle numbers add them and then divide them by 2.

Answer:

Mean =43,935.9

Median = 41,433

Explanation:

We are given the following data:

Number of observations = 10

38364, 39143, 39619, 40742, 41038, 41828, 45289, 48960, 49863, 54513

Formula:

Mean = \displaystyle\frac{\text{Sum of all observations}}{\text{Total number of observation}}

Median:\\\text{If n is odd, then}\\\\Median = \displaystyle(n+1)/(2)th ~term \\\\\text{If n is even, then}\\\\Median = \displaystyle((n)/(2)th~term + ((n)/(2)+1)th~term)/(2)

Mean = \displaystyle(439359)/(10) = 43,935.9

Sorted data:

38364, 39143, 39619, 40742, 41038, 41828, 45289, 48960, 49863, 54513

Median = \diplaystyle(5th~term + 6th`term)/(2) = \displaystyle(41038 + 41828)/(2) = 41,433

Median is the value that divides the data into two equal halves. Hence, median best describes the center of the data set.
