Hey!

------------------------------------------

Formula:
\sqrt{(x2 - x1) + (y2 - y1)^(2) }

------------------------------------------

Solution:

= \sqrt{(-5 - 3) + (7 - 4)^(2) }

= \sqrt{(-8) + (3)^(2) }

= \sqrt{-5^(2) }

= √(-25)

= 5

------------------------------------------

Answer:

The distance between both points is 5 units.

------------------------------------------

Hope This Helped! Good Luck!
