Answer:

500 miles

Explanation:

Let

y -----> the rental cost

x ----> the number of miles in a day

we have

Company A

y=0.20x+110 -----> equation A

Company B

y=0.30x+60 -----> equation B

Equate equation A and equation B and solve for x

0.20x+110=0.30x+60

0.30x-0.20x=110-60

0.10x=50

x=500\ miles

For x=500 miles the rental costs for company A and Company B are the same
