Answer:

Explanation:

Given are five numbers x, 7, 2, 16, and 11

Average = sum/5=
(x+36)/(5)

Median =
(x+36)/(5)

The average of the remaining four numbers =
(36)/(4) =9

If x=9 then average =9 only and also median

will be middle entry of ascending order

2,7,9,11,16

Middle entry = Median = 9

Hence x=9

(1) 7 < x < 11
