How do you multiply

Multiply means you add a number in the equation by the other number for certain times.

For example: 2x6. You get 2, and add that two 6 times.

It is also the same as 2+2+2+2+2+2.

Multiplying can be written in many ways. x×y, x·y, x(y), (x)(y).

The next time you multiply, I hope you understand it better!

Explanation:

I’ll try my best to explain even though I’m not the best at math either but (5•7=35) YOU CAN CHECK YOUR WORK BY ADDING 5... 7times. For example 5+5+5+5+5+5+5 =35
