Now let's divide both sides by π just to get it out of the way

288 = 4/3 r^3

Now we can divide both sides by 4/3, which is the same as multiplying by 3/4

216 = r^3

Now just take the cube root, or the third root of both sides. or another way is to bring both sides to the 1/3 power.
