4 or more apples could be green because if there are 3 or less red then there must be 4-7 green

Answer:

4, 5, 6 or 7.

Explanation:

Given,

Total number of apples = 7,

Let x be the number of red apples,

Then the number of green apples = 7 - x,

According to the question,

x < 4

-x > -4

7-x > 7 - 4

7-x > 3

⇒ Number of green apples > 3,

Also, number of green apples ≤ 7

Thus, the number of green apples are more than 3 i.e. 4, 5, 6 or 7.
