No because 35/5 would be 7 seconds and 7*5 would 35 so there is a difference

Answer:

No

Explanation:

Basically, the statement is saying: 35 ft per 7 seconds. In math, the word per means there is a fraction involved, so per can be rewritten with a "/". So our fraction would be 35/7. This can be simplified to 5/1, which means 5 ft per second.

It would not be 7 feet for every second, it would be 5 feet for every second.
