Answer:

13(1)/(3)\ cookies

Explanation:

we know that

Amar makes each cookie with 6 oz of cookie dough

we have

5 lb of cookie dough

Convert to ounces

1 lb=16 oz

so

5 lb=5*16=80 oz

Using proportion

Let

x ------> the number of cookies

(1)/(6)(cookie)/(oz)=(x)/(80)(cookies)/(oz)\\\\x=80/6\\ \\x=13.33\ cookies

Convert to mixed number

13.33=13(1)/(3)\ cookies

therefore

He can make
13(1)/(3)\ cookies
