The formula for arc length is:

(s)/(theta) =(r)/(1)

s is the arc length

r is the radius

theta will be in radians

In this case:

s = unknown

r = 8 cm

theta =
(2\pi )/(3)

^^^Plug this into formula given above

(s)/((2\pi )/(3)) =(8)/(1)

Cross multiply

s * 1 =
(2\pi )/(3) * 8

s =
(2\pi*8 )/(3)

s =
(16\pi )/(3)

^^^This is your arc length

Hope this helped!
