\text{Hey there!}

\text{PEMDAS means: Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition}\\\text{, \& Subtraction}

\text{\underline{No}, it is \underline{NOT} correct because you had to work with the parentheses first}

(8)/(2)(2 + 2) = \ ? \\ \\ (2 + 2) = 4 \\ \\ (8)/(2)(4) = \ ? \\ \\ (8)/(2)= 4 \\ \\ \text{4(4)\ = 16} \\ \\ \boxed{\boxed{\huge\text{Answer should be: 16 }}}

\text{You had to do what was inside the parentheses first, then}\text{ divsion}

\text{Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!}
