Moore's law:

According to Moors;s law the number of transistor in chip will be double after every 18 moths.There is lots of chances for innovation because we had transistors or about 58% growth in the performance per year.The major drawback of Moore's law that the power consumption is too high because it is proportional to the number of switching transistor.

Unstated corollary to Moore's law by Carroll:

It says that at any given point of time ,the best and modern machines at that given point of time are going to out of date very fast.
