Answer:

49.25 feet

Explanation:

1 yard = 3 feet

A school club needs 350 feet of rope for a project.

They have 4 pieces of rope that are each 14 yards in length.

14 yards = 14 × 3 = 42 feet

4 ropes of 42 feet = 42 × 4 = 168 feet

1 piece of rope that is 10.5 yards in length = 10.5 × 3 = 31.5 feet

1 piece of rope that is 101.25 feet in length = 101.25 feet

Total rope in length = 168 + 31.5 + 101.25 = 300.75 feet

They need additional rope = 350 - 300.75 = 49.25 feet.

They need additional 49.25 feet rope for their project.
