we know,

distance = speed × time

50 = x × time

t₁ = 50 / x...............................(1)

when unicorn travel 300 mile with speed of '3x'

distance = speed × time

300 = 3 x × time

t₂ = 100/ x...............................(2)

dividing equation (2)/(1)

`(t_2)/(t_1)  =  (100/x)/(50/x)`

t₂ = 2 × t₁

hence, the time will be twice the first one.
