Hi :)

Let's find the (HCF) of 27 and 90

To find that lets first list all the factors of 27

27 : 1, 3, 9 , 27

Now lets do the same thing with 90

90 : 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 , 9, 15...90

Well the hcf is basically the highest common factor

highest = largest

common = both numbers have it

factor = a number that is evenly divided into a larger number

So the hcf of these two numbers is :

9
