Remember the definition of perimeter is the length around the shape

14) If the perimeter of the square is 52cm, we know that the entire length is also 52cm. Right now, we are asked to calculate the length of each side, with a square having 4 sides. We simply divide 52 by 4 to find out the length per side.

Remember to use units in your answer. It is a good way to lose points if you forget!

15) We do the opposite of question 14. We know that the perimeter is the length of all the sides added together, so it is 3.5cm multiplied by the side number. A pentagon has 5 sides, so it is 5*3.5=17.5
