10x+y=-x^2+2 how many solutions ? Anyone

So, for the equation itself cannot be a solution due to the ordered pair isn't a solution to the equation.

But I can solve what both x and y is, so, hopefully it'll help...

Solve the equation for x by finding a , b , and c of the quadratic then applying the quadratic formula.

x = − 5 ± √ − y + 27

-

Subtract 10 x from both sides of the equation.

y = − x 2 + 2 − 10 x
