You drawer Contains 6 black and 8 white socks. You randomly choose two socks. What is the probability that both socks you pick are black? Write your answer as a simplified fraction.

Answer: 15/91 chance or probability

Explanation: there is a 3/7 chance I will pick the black socks one time because there are 14 socks and 6 are black. 6/14 is 3/7. Now we remove one black sock. Now there is a 5/13 chance that I pick the black sock. 3/7 x 5/13 = 15/91. Therefore there is a 15/91 chance that both socks I pick are black.
