Rearrange the given equation into this form

10x + 20y + 40 = 0 ( divide all terms by 10 to simplify )

x + 2y + 4 = 0 ( subtract x + 4 from both sides )

2y = - x - 4 ( divide all terms by 2 )

y = -
(1)/(2) x - 2 ← in slope- intercept form

with slope m = -
(1)/(2) and y- intercept c = - 2
