For this case we must simplify the following expression:

-32 ^ {\frac {3} {5}}

We can rewrite the 32 as
2 ^ 5 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2

So:

- (2 ^ 5) ^ {\frac {3} {5}}

By definition of power properties we have to:

(a ^ n) ^ m = a ^ {n * m}

So:

- (2 ^ 5) ^ {\frac {3} {5}} = - 2 ^ {\frac {15} {5}} = - 2 ^ 3 = -2 * -2 * -2 = -8

Answer:

-8
