Explanation:

12 - 5x = 7x + 3

Add 5x on the both sides so there would only be 12 on the right side.

So...... 12 = 12x + 3

Then minus 3 from both sides

9 = 12x

0.75 = x

:0 ITS MAGIC

12-5x= 7x+3

12-7x-5x= 7x-7x+3

12-12x= 3

12-12-12x= 3-12

-12x= -9

Divide by -12 for -12x and -9

-12x/-12= -9/-12

x= 9/12

Divide by 3 for 9/12

x= 3/4

Answer is x= 3/4
