A 275 g sample of nickel at 100.0°C is placed in 100.0mL of water at 22.0°C, what is the final temperature of the water? (Specific heat capacity of nickel = 0.444J/g°C)

275 x 0.444 ( T - 100) + 100 x 4.18 ( T - 22)=0

122.1 T - 12210 + 418 T - 9196 =0

540.1 T = 21406

T = 39.6 °C
