A group of friends wants to go to the amusement park. They have no more than $175

to spend on parking and admission. Parking is $12.50, and tickets cost $16.25 per
person, including tax. Write and solve an inequality which can be used to determine
2, the number of people who can go to the amusement park.

Answer: 10 people can/ 12.50+16.25x is less than or equal to 175

Step-by-step explanation: so parking is constant since it doesn't change. ticket price however is affected by a variable which represents ticket per person which is shown as 12.50(parking)+16.25x where x would equal the max amount of people while respecting the given 175 limit we cannot go over

Answer:

"Can you add the equation?"

That's exactly what I'm asking, I asked a question that's very similar to this one, but nobody seems to know an equation that can be created :(

Explanation:

If I solve the problem and create an equation, I'll let you know

I got you.

Inequaility : 12.50 + 16.25x ≤ 174

I think it's gonna be

x ≤ 10
