The industrial revolution is the change of England/Britain through out history meaning village , farming and factories . The industrial revolution was the change 1750-1900 in the way people lived and worked . People moved from living in the countryside and working on farms to living in cities like Manchester and working in factories as they were popular. The building of factories in the 19 th century brought together new forms of power and machinery with a workplace under one roof . As a result of this Manchester became a city.Another reason Britain started the industrial revolution was because of political and economic reasons Manchester or Britain were wealthy and because of this they created the empire. Another reason was population during the 19th century the population massively increased in size. This meant more food was needed and clothes, also, more workers were available to work in factories . Hope that helps.
