  • Blacks only had slave-like jobs, when whites could be teachers or business men, etc.
  • Blacks were not hired to jobs that they applied for because of their color.
  • Blacks were paid a lot less then whites for the same job.
  • Blacks couldn't live in the same neighborhood as whites.
  • Blacks were tormented by whites on the street.
  • Blacks were killed, beaten, and lynched for asserting themselves as equal to whites.
