A bakery bakes 6 batches of cookies every morning . Each batch contains the same amount of cookies. A total of 144 cookies are baked every morning. The first 4 batches of cookies are chocolate chips cookies and the last 2 are macadamia. 5/6 of the first 4 batches are sold by the end of the day. 1/2 of the last two batches are sold by the end of the day. How many chocolate chips cookies remain at the end of the day?

Answer:

16 chocolate cookies was left.

Explanation:

Well first 144/6=24 and 24x4=96; 24x2=48. So 96x0.833333333=16.

Explanation:

144 divided by 6 = 24

24 in each batch

24 x 4 = 96

96 cookies in 4 batches

5/6 of 96 = 80

96-80=16
